Apprentice Case Maker/Export Packer

Apprentice Case Maker/Export Packer required to work for a local manufacturer of bespoke wooden packaging

Apprenticeship Qualification – Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Opertative 

 Mon – Thurs 7.30am – 5.00pm, Fri 6.00am – 3.15pm 

Weekly Wage: £266.90 per week

Main duties & Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing export packing cases to customers specifications using various hand tools and industrial saws along with nail guns and tape measures.
• Export packing of various delicate products
• Maintain the companies high quality expectations
• Working as part of an efficient experienced team
• Following detailed instructions given by the Operations Manager and also health and safety guidelines set out by the company

• Ability to use equipment and tooling in a safe manner
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Be able to follow detailed instructions and work safely following Health and Safety guidelines
• Attention to detail

• Have a keen attitude towards training and development
• Reliable and flexible

Desired Qualifications:

None as full training will be given
