Business Support Admin Apprentice

Main duties & Responsibilities:
The Business Support Admin Apprentice will be part of the team which provides support to our management teams at our three manufacturing sites in St Helens
Update site databases and systems
Order supplies and record deliveries in our purchasing system
Manage and maintain our electronic training records system
Arrange travel bookings with third-party supplier
General office duties e.g. filing, photocopying, printing etc.
Update noticeboards with relevant information
Take notes from operational meetings, document actions and distribute notes to teams.
Schedule meetings and manage bookings of meeting rooms.
Book and confirm waste collections
Support electronic work permit system
Manage and maintain contractor and visitor database
Desired skills:
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office packages (including Sharepoint) would be desirable
Good verbal and written communication skills are essential

Good level of attention to detail and a flexible approach
Desired Qualifications:
5 GCSEs of grades of 9 to 4 (A* to C) including Maths and English are essential. A GCSE in Business Studies or a related subject would be desirable.
Future prospects: This is an 18 month Fixed Term Contract. We endeavour to offer a full time, permanent role at the end of the period of apprenticeship training. We are a global business with opportunities for talented individuals both in the UK and abroad; most of our former apprentices have gone on to further their careers at our Upstream manufacturing sites in St Helens and/or at our UK Head Office in Lathom, near Ormskirk.
