Trainee Nursery Nurse

Main duties & Responsibilities:

Be aware of and follow nursery policies and procedures at all time

With assistance, formulate & operate a programme of activities suitable to age range of children attending nursery

Prepare the children’s records in your group & institute reviews for parents

Work alongside parents of special needs children to achieve full integration in the nursery

Foresee the needs of special needs children & give physical, emotional guidance

Be aware of whom the Safeguarding Officer is and understand and follow procedures

Undertake certain domestic duties e.g. preparing snacks, cleansing of equipment

Participate in the training programmes of a wide range of students

Able to work as part of a team

Professional approach when dealing with parents and colleagues

Reliable and punctual

Willing to learn

Desired Qualifications:

Good level of numeracy and literacy skills
